The last 7 days have been crazy! Family has been in town, I had a baby shower, and I am GOING CRAZY nesting slash cleaning slash being a nutso wacko. Anyway, all of that has left me feeling pooped!
I hope you all are doing so well! Can you believe the holidays are coming up? Any fun ideas for either Halloween activities and/or costumes? (I am the WORST at Halloween but I actually want to be something this year!
I decided I feel the very most comfortable in looks like this. Tight pants/leggings, booties, and big sweaters are my go-to right now and I feel great about it. To add a little bit of sass, I incorporate hats/patterns/details that are fun and unique!
Lately (and I would LIKE to blame it on the pregnancy hormones) I feel myself getting less patient with my favorite boy (aka Eric). My words leave my mouth before my brain can approve them and when that happens, things do not go well. I hate that my words are the least kind to the person I love the most so I have a new resolve to change. My words should be gentle and kind and uplifting ESPECIALLY to him. (I will report back on my progress next post!) I LOVE the below quote from this article:
Considering the ‘powerful force’ of the words we utter, we must discipline ourselves to speak in a way that conveys respect, gentleness and humility. One of the clearest sign of a moral life is right speech. Perfecting our speech is one of the keystones of mature people. Before speaking take a few moments to contemplate what you will say and how you will say it; while considering the impact they will have on the listener/s. Be kind to all and speak words that are beacons of inspiration, enthusiasm and encouragement to all. Kind and sweet words are always music to the ears of the listeners.
Much love dear friends!
