This little shift (last seen here) has been a well-worn favorite since its debut as my Easter dress. The transition between seasons is such a fun time to get creative with trans-seasonal pieces. Adding a little crocheted sweater, hat and booties helps to transition this dress into fall!
Thought of the Day: I have been thinking a lot about my life and what I am doing and where I want to be in the future. The funny thing is I never could have anticipated where I am today. It wasn’t planned, it just sort of happened. When all of my pretty plans wrapped in a bow didn’t quite unwrap the way I thought they would, I felt frustrated, self-conscious and confused. I am not sure if these feelings have gone away completely but a few feelings have been added to the mix. I now feel grateful, faithful, and optimistic about the future. These feelings were a bit hard to come by but I made a goal to make a list of what I am thankful for at the end of every day. Consistently ending my days in this positive way has made a huge impact on my attitude that desperately needed changing. (One of the always – listed items was the opportunity to do something completely different than anything I have done or thought I would do, start this blog!)
Here’s to unplanned plans.
