Where did you come up with the name “Wear and Back Again”?
So, if you are new to my blog, you may not know, but I am OBSESSED with “Lord of the Rings”. Yep! Shouting that fact from the rooftops! To me, it is an epic tale of courage, friendship, and conquering the impossible. Back to the name… Bilbo Baggins (from “The Hobbit”), documents his many adventures in a book called, “There and Back Again”.
When and why did you start your blog?
I started Wear and Back Again in the summer of 2014 to create a positive/learning/sharing online environment surrounding fashion and wellness. I never thought in a million years that I would do anything even remotely creative, bloggy, etc… BUT, here we are and I am LOVING it! As I have continued on this little adventure, I have found my favorite aspect of blogging is to connect with YOU! So please keep on connecting my friends!
What is your background/”other” job?
I graduated with a degree in business management then worked for two international financial firms for 4 years. I LOVED finance, but that crazy little thing called life took a turn and my little family and I found ourselves back where we grew up, the SF Bay Area!! Then, my darling husband got into dental school in Utah and we officially became California transplants! I am now working at an amazing healthcare company in an implementations rolls (kind of like a technical project manager). (Yes, self-proclaimed nerd over here!)
What is most important to you?
2 things, my family, and my faith! I have been married to my favorite person, Eric, for (almost) 7 wonderful years and we have the cutest furball, a mutt puppy that we think is our baby. (His name is Dane, after my surfer husband’s favorite surfer, Dane Reynolds.) Second, I believe in God, that we can all have a personal relationship with him, and I sure do! How tall are you?
5’9″ even though my sister and my dad would say I am 5’8″…
What kind of camera/lens do you use?
Nikon D5000-35mm with 1:1.8 or 105mm macro or 18-55mm lenses
Can we work together?
Absolutely! I would love it!! Here is the link to my contact page!!
A thought to leave you with… The older I get, the more I realize that life is what we make it. It is up to us to create goals and dreams and solely on us to turn them into real life. This nugget of Walt Disney’s wisdom urges me to keep shooting forward!
“All our dreams can come true–if we have the courage to pursue them.”
